Jan grew up in Colma, California. She moved to Napa in 1979 with her late husband and two wonderful daughters. While her daughters were young, she was a stay at home mom on 5 acres with all varieties of farm animals. She got back into the work world in the early 1990’s at Silverado Veterinary Hospital; where she spent the next 20 years. Her love for all animals made her job very rewarding. She had worked at Silverado with Dr. Kim Schmidt and saw that she was looking for someone to help her out with ordering, delivering and other needs. 

Jan spends her free time with her grandchildren and riding her two horses(Tennessee Walkers).
