Veterinary Rehabilitation Therapy

All of our rehabilitation services are performed in the comfort of your home! This helps to decrease stress and increase comfort for your pet. It is also a wonderful option for pets with mobility issues where traveling to a clinic for rehabilitation is challenging. Dr. Lisa Tieber DVM, MS, DACVIM (Neurology), CCRT is our Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist. She is also a veterinary acupuncturist and board certified veterinary neurologist! She is an expert in rehabilitation for all orthopedic issues, and has a special talent for assessing neurological patients and helping them with their rehabilitation journey.

Dr. Lisa brings all of her rehabilitation equipment to your home. She utilizes balance and rocker boards, trax donuts, tension bands, cavalettis, foam blocks and balance pads. She also performs NMES (Neuromuscular electrical stimulation), PEMF (Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy), acupuncture and Class IV Cold Laser Therapy.

At your visit she will do a full orthopedic and neurological exam of your pet and develop a plan for their rehabilitation care. She will work with them on a regular basis, performing rehabilitation exercises and physical modalities in your home. She will also teach you how to do exercises with your pet between visits, which can improve their outcome.
